Soccer Bribe

Braxton has played soccer for about four years. In the past he has been excited for practices and games... this season, not so much. It has been a challenge to explain to Brax that when you make a commitment, you need to stick with it. Today at the game, Grammie let me in on a secret. They started a little "bribe" last game. Brax gets 10 cents for everytime his foot connects with the ball. WOW- did this work! Yeah bribing probably isn't the best way to get your child involved in sports but it sure makes it more fun to watch. Brax made 60 cents last Saturday but today made a wopping $2.60!! He even had a play where he took the ball from about half field to the goal. He didn't make a goal but OH MAN was it exciting! Thanks Grammie, you always have a trick up your sleeve :)
