John went on a 4 day fishing trip with his Brother Charlie and some of Charlie's family. They fished off the coast of California on the Bright & Morning Star boat.

What John called "Combat Fishing". Shoulder-to-shoulder and when you would catch a fish, it would whip you around the edge of the boat.
Living corridors- John was lucky enough to get the bunk on the ground. 36 men, 3 total bathrooms, tight bunk space... sounds like a sleeping disaster.
They fished for Yellow Tail and Yellow Fin Tuna and Dorado. John said he caught about 10 fish and maxed out the 50 pound weight limit for his coolers. He brought home 2 coolers- you can do the math... that is A LOT of fish.
