Nikki- FIVE MONTHS

WOW- five months have gone by so fast. The most recent and exciting event in Nikki's life, is the sign of her first tooth! We spotted it yesterday, just a little bit of white showing and you can feel it with your finger. There is nothing cuter than a baby's smile with a bottom tooth :)

This past month Nikki has become very interested in objects. She will grab onto toys, move them in her hand and continue to inspect them. She also loves watching us move around the room, she won't stop looking at us until we acknowledge her and then we will have to look at her again and again - she will continue to reward us with a smile. One other fun thing Nikki is doing is grabbing onto her feet. She has also started scratching things; when she is being changed she will scratch at the wall or while feeding her cereal she will scratch the tray on her highchair.

Nikki is really starting to giggle too. Her favorite thing is to be startled- she thinks it is really funny. She also laughs when we tickle up her tummy to her neck, do high pitched screams or John's signature "boop, boop, BOOP" with his hands clapping slowly toward her face.

Nikki is getting more fun everyday and her personality is really starting to shine! She is SO MUCH FUN!
