Nikki- NINE MONTHS

Nikki has been very busy this month. She hasn't started to crawl but is able to make a lot of distance rolling. We will set her down in one position and she will be in a completely new location when we look back just a few minutes later. One of our favorite things is making Nikki laugh. Braxton is very good at making Nikki giggle. He will come up with little sayings and then clap or find something that makes a weird sound... she just loves it!

Nikki has started to clap her hands and loves it when we say "Yay"! She also loves shaking her head and grins when we say "no, no, no" . She will do it violently at times and get a little off balance- it is quite funny. Nikki has started to enjoy eating more foods. Her favorite is celery sticks. She pulls at it with her teeth and I think she likes the way the little strings feel in her mouth. Nikki is very interested in our mouths. She loves to watch us when we talk and enjoys grabbing at our mouths. Nikki also likes it when I play pat-a-cake with her legs. Her favorite is when I say "and Pull-it" and I stretch her legs out to the side- she giggles really hard.

Nikki just couldn't be any more fun! It is this age where you finally get some payback for those challenging early newborn months. She is a joy and it is so much fun seeing Brax play with her.
